Today in music theory mr sadrakh was absent so mr harry substituted him. we learned about notations again, then afterwards one person from each instrument class played their song.
Today in music instrument we played our assessment song and then we scored each others playing. i dont think i did that well because i made some mistakes.

today i music theory some of us played the song that they are oging to play for assessment. for the practicing madilyn and william played a duet (madilyn played the piano and william played the violin). today we also figured out that madilyn and william will be doing a duet for their assesment.
today in music instrument i practiced playing minuet. i think i did good. Now all i need to improve on is the stacato parts.

Today in music theory mr sadrakh tested us on notation, then afterwards we (some of us) played the song that they are going to play for the assessment. the first wwas the violin students then the woodwind.
Today in music we practiced playing our assessment song. i had trouble playing it because i was not sure about the noted and stuff. so mr herry taught me how to play (for the parts i did not know how and the parts that i did wrongly.)

Today in music theory i heard some of my classmates play the song that they are going to play for their assessment, today i also did the written test about th baroque music. I thought that the written test was equally hard and easy. some of the questions i kind of found easy and sone i found a bit hard.

Today in music theory some people in our class had to stand in the front and say what they know about baroque era and the baroque music and composers, we did the activity because our written test was coming. It was to prepare us for that.
Today in music instrument we talked about Baroque (in general). Afterwards we heard Mahesa and dino play minuet. we also heard madilyn play her song (assessment song that she has chosen).

Today in music theory mr sadrakh told us who had to re-do for the singing assessment. i was one of them. All of us who had to re-do was asked to stand in the front and practice. after we were done practicing we did the assessment again (individually).
Today during music Instrument we saw 3 people playing /practicing what they are going to play for the assessment.

Today in music theory we had our singing assessment. i think, if im not wrong, i was 2nd to the last. After i heard almost everyone else sing it was finally my turn. then i did my singing assessment. I think i did really bad. But watching the rest was pretty amusing (for some, not all). i really think i did bad today.
WE DID NOT HAVE MUSIC INSTRUMENT TODAY BECAUSE OF THE SINGING ASSESSMENT.

Today in music theory some of us had to read something from our baroque booklet. Afterwards we practiced singing our assessment song as a class, then we practiced singing the song in pairs. I was paired with shania.
Today in music instrument we only had a short time, so we decided to look/see mr herry play some (3) of the options that we can play for another assessment (the solo playing instrument assessment).

Today in Music Theory we got our assessment schedule. Next week we are going to have a singing assessment. Today we also got back our Baroque Composer Booklet (i got 6). When everyone got their booklet back, we got to see some of our blogs/reflection. Then we got our blog/reflection score. I got 8/8.

Today during music theory Madilyn did her assessment (she was absent on the day the rest of ous did our assessmrnt). Other people also did their assessment again (re-do). The people who did the re-do were jocelyn, refan and dio. Afterwards we made the blog booklet thing (for assessment). Today i also found out that my score for the practical assessment is 7/10. After we were sone making the blog booklet thing, mr sadrakh asked each of us to come forward as he called our names to give the booklet. Today was also fun, we laughed alot in class.
(we didnt have instrument today)

Today is the day of our assessment. the assessment was nerve wrecking. i think i did pretty badly because i kept on making mistakes. i was the 3rd to the last to play in the piano instrument group. After i was done playing my melody i watched the other people of my class play their melody. Some of the people played badly..... but it was funny so i guess it was worth watching.

Today in music theory we talked about our blog (i forgot what else happened )
Today in music instrument we played a short game then we did a finger exercise (c major) Afterwards we practiced playing our melody. I need to practice my melody to make it more fluent.

today in music theory mr sadrakh asked us how our assessment went. then he asked most of us what our score for finale is and then asked why we got it.
today in music instrument we practiced our melody while mr herry recorded us. apparentaly Mahesa brought in his camera and became a nuisance to me because i dont like getting my pictures taken. He was taking pictures of us and being kind of stalkerish (weird basically ^^). the nect thing i am going to do is to practice my melody ro perfect it since the assessment is next week.

today in music theory everyone's group tried doing their movementa/compostition (the one for IDU) with the music. the only groups that got to perform with the songs were groups 1-5. today if im not wrong i think we also got our scores for our baroque composer booklet. i got 6/8. :)
today in instrument we practiced our melody with the other people from the piano judging our playing and telling us what to improve on. some people said that i just had to improve on [;aying with my left hand. so the next thing i am going to do is to practice my melody more with my left hand.

today in music theory we listened to everyones melody (only the melody that has been chosen for the IDU). and then he told us our finale score, i got 10/10.
today we practiced only for a short while because theory used up a little bit of the time for the instrument class.the next thing i will do is to continue practicing my melody.

today in music theory mr sadrakh talked about our blogspot. after he was done discussing about our blogspot he told us which song we are going to ude for the IDU project.
today in music instrument we practiced our melody again, when i was playing mine i improved but only a little, i became more fluent in playing. when i finished playing my melody mr herry said that i was good enough to try harder ways to play with my left hand instead of just playing with the block chord. the next thing i am going to do is to practice me melody at home with the different way of playing the left hand.

today in music theory we were supposed to submit our baroque composer music booklet and our own melody (we had to make the melody in finale and print it).lmost everyone submitted the booklet, and only 11 out of 27 students submitted the melody/finale. The rest will be submitted on Friday.
today in music instrument me herry showed us different ways of playing with the left hand. He told us 4 different ways of playing the chords, there is the 'block chord', ;broken chord'. 'arpeggio' and the 'simple arpegio'. then i practiced playing my melody. While i was playing my melody mr herry corrected some of the notes so that the intervals between one note and the other wouldnt be too far apart. the next thing i am going to do it to practice my melody until i remember/ memorize theh first part (at least the first 4 bars) :)

Today in music instrument, i tries playing my melody but i couldn't really read the notes. I have always had trouble in reading notes, but i have improved a little bit compared to last time. the next thing i am going to do is to practive playing at home and trying to read the notes (while im at it)

Today in music theory Mr. Sadrakh told us that the submission fot the baroque composer booklet is on wednesday, next week. We then talked more about the booklet. Then Mr. Herry told us about how to make a blog. And then Mr. Herry played one of the compositions made by a classmate (shania and andrew). (we didnt have music instrument)

Today in Music theory Mr. Sadrakh taught us how to use the software Finale. Before that, Mr Herry told us to either bring a USB, buy the software or bring our laptop on friday.
Today in music instrument Mr. Herry told us which note has how many counts. Then he showed us how to make the melody. Afterwards he told us to continue making the melody at home.

Today in music theory we learnt about Music notation. it was kind of hard, but after a while i started to understand more. In the end i understood what music notation is.
Today i music instrument we played the c major and we were told to make the d and a major scale. the next thing i'm going to do (at home) is to practice the D and A major scale.

Today was the day of the singing assessment. Mr. Sadrakh said that we wouldn't be having our instrument class because of the assessment. Today was the day of the assessment and the singing assessment was done in partners. My partner was Jocelyn, when it was our turn to sing I was kind of nervous. When we started singnig i realized that my voice wasn't very loud, so i wasn't very sure that people could hear me. After our turn was over, we got to watch other people sing and it was very entertaining. We, as a clss, had fun.

Today in music theory we checked our hw and we practiced singing one of the songs for our assessment. there were 2 options and everyone in the class picked Hari Merdeka, so we all sang that song twice, and the other song twice.
Today after music theory, we went to our instrument classes, the piano teacher was Mr. Herry. In the instrument class i learnt how to do the c major on the piano (2 octaves). i should practice on using/ playing with my left hand.

Today was the first day for us to have music. Our theory teacher was Mr. Sadrakh. He told all the new students to introduce themsleves. After they were done Introducing themselves, we were told to choose our music classes. I chose piano for instrument.
